Club’s Link With Tottenham Hotspur Winger Dismissed
Contrary to reports, Fiorentina is not interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil during the current winter transfer window.
Gil has played only a supporting role for Tottenham this season, and this month, he has been strongly connected to leaving the team.
Ange Postecoglou has used the Spaniard infrequently, and he is eager to contribute more minutes in the second half of the season. Although it appears Fiorentina is looking for other players, they have been connected to an interest in signing the winger on loan.

Sportitalia, an Italian broadcaster, reports that Fiorentina is not currently evaluating Gil as a potential alternative. They are moving forward in their efforts to sign Ruben Vargas, and they are currently in negotiations with Augsburg to close a €7 million deal.
It doesn’t appear likely that they will try to sign Gil from Tottenham in the upcoming days or weeks. In addition, Spurs would rather sell the Spaniard than reach an agreement to lend him out once more this month.
