    SPURS NEWS: He is back…

When Tottenham returns to Premier League action this week, they want to welcome back three players.

Due to Chelsea’s participation in the Carabao Cup final, Spurs’ scheduled away trip to Chelsea was canceled, giving them the entire week off.
As a result, Pedro Porro, Manor Solomon, and Destiny Udogie have had more time to heal from their wounds. The other two are more questionable, but the left-back should be ready to play against Crystal Palace this coming Saturday.

On Friday, Ange Postecoglou will provide an update on the three. Fraser Forster and Ryan Sessegnon have missed more time than others.

Here is the most recent information on injuries and return dates for Tottenham players.

    Pedro Porro
Pedro Porro was sidelined for the Wolves game at home due to a strained muscle sustained during practice.

Last week, Postecoglou stated: “It will probably take him [Porro] a few weeks.” Hopefully, he doesn’t miss too many with the game break.

When questioned on Instagram earlier this week if he should be sold in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Porro responded with a statement of his own: “Don’t sell me.”

Possible return date: March 2 on Saturday against Crystal Palace

    Udogie Destiny
Destiny Udogie was spared from the Wolves’ defeat by a knock.

The left-back has only missed four Premier League games so far this season, and Postecoglou is optimistic that Udogie will return for Spurs’ upcoming game.

Prior to the game, Postecoglou commented, “Don’t think it is anything too serious.” “Next weekend is a free weekend, so he should be back [against Palace].”

Possible return date: March 2 on Saturday against Crystal Palace

    Manor Solomon
Manor Solomon, who hasn’t played since Spurs’ victory over Liverpool at the end of September, has had a rough season.

The forward needed surgery to repair a meniscus damage to his right knee, and it was disclosed earlier this month that Solomon would undergo a “further procedure” to address the problem, delaying his return.

Solomon was supposed to recover from that setback in two to three weeks, and after starting training again this week, he should be back in the mix by early March.

Possible return date: March 10 on Sunday against Aston Villa

    Ryan Sesegnon
Because of a hamstring injury, Ryan Sessegnon has only played seven minutes of meaningful football this season.

Prior to the Wolves game, Postecoglou provided an encouraging report, stating that Sessegnon has expedited his recuperation.

Postecoglou stated, “He’s back training, which is the first thing.” He must now compile a body of work for training, and then we will proceed.

It’s our first week together as of this week. He has performed all tasks assigned to him this week and has trained effectively thus far; hopefully, this trend will continue.

Sessegnon, though, was pulled off the field after just 35 minutes of play for Spurs’ U21 team a week ago due to an injury, and it’s unclear how serious the issue is.

Fraser Forster: Due to a foot fracture, goalkeeper Fraser Forster will likely be out for a long time. The 35-year-old has only played once this season, in the Carabao Cup loss against Fulham. With the injury, he may not be able to return to the team until the last few weeks of the campaign. Postecoglou has estimated that Forster will be out for “about two months.”
