Tottenham Hotspur are advancing in talks to sign Club Brugge forward Antonio Nusa at Hotspur Way but are joined in their interest by West Ham.
Spurs have had a busy winter transfer window in 2024 and, with an eye on the future, want to add one more big player before the market closes on February 1st.
Chairman Daniel Levy has endorsed head coach Ange Postecoglou in the transfer market, with the goal of leading the Lilywhites back to the Champions League at the conclusion of the 2023–2024 campaign. Nusa is gradually establishing himself at Club Brugge and has emerged as one of Europe’s most exciting talents. Scouts from the Premier League are keeping an eye on him in Belgium.
Tottenham’s busy winter transfer window amid potential Nusa signing

Tottenham has the option to purchase the Germany international outright for €17 million, or around £15 million, according to transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano. Richarlison and Son Heung-min, who is presently representing South Korea at the Asia Cup in Qatar, have competition and cover from Werner.
After Werner was signed, the Lilywhites signed Radu Dragusin, a centre-back from Genoa, for a reported £26.7 million. With a contract that runs until the summer of 2030, the 21-year-old Tottenham Hotspur Stadium player will go off against Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven for a spot in Postecoglou’s starting lineup. You may have assumed that Tottenham’s winter operations would be done after they added two significant players to their roster.
On January 19, however, HLN (via Romano) disclosed that negotiations on Nusa’s signing were underway between Club Brugge and Spurs. The next day, Romano declared that more talks over Nusa will take place soon, with Tottenham keen to go forward with the agreement in order to keep the 18-year-old on board. Although Nusa has no plans to leave the Belgian team at this time, an agreement may be reached for the Norway international to play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in July.According to Dharmesh Sheth, a reporter for Sky Sports, Tottenham is “pushing” to recruit the adolescent before the winter window closes, as reported by GIVEMESPORT. In the meanwhile, Brentford and West Ham of the Premier League are interested in signing Nusa, according to transfer insider Dean Jones (via Sports Lens).
