With seven games remaining in the Premier League title fight, James Maddison, a star for Tottenham, has declared that Spurs will not support any of the three participating teams.

The North London team hopes to qualify for the Champions League for the following season, but because they still have games left against Arsenal, Liverpool, and Man City, they could have a significant influence on the Premier League winner.

While Maddison asserts that Tottenham is focused on doing its own business and is not seeking to assist anyone in winning the Premier League, taking points away from any of those three teams might be harmful to their title hopes.

“Of course I am excited, you want to be involved in the big games,” Madison remarked in an interview with Sky Sports regarding Tottenham’s obligation to play all three clubs.

It just so happens that we still have to play all three of the top teams, which should be entertaining. We have work to do, and people are always asking me how much influence Tottenham will have in the title fight.

“That is not how we are viewing it. We have our own work to complete, and we never consider how we may help other teams—rather, our goal is to place as high as possible.
