The ‘great’ message that Ipswich Town conveyed to Leeds United and their opponents for promotion after their’relentless’ win
Kieran McKenna’s team defeated Sheffield Wednesday 6-0, showing no signs of slowing down.
Coach Kieran McKenna of Ipswich Town praised his team’s “relentless” effort, saying it was evident from the start to finish as they defeated Sheffield Wednesday 6-0. In addition to Nathan Broadhead and Cameron Burgess scoring goals, Omari Hutchinson and substitute Ali Al-Hamadi each scored braces as the Tractor Boys secured their greatest victory of the year.
Ipswich maintained pressure on Leicester City and Leeds United with the win. While the Foxes were playing Chelsea in the FA Cup, Daniel Farke’s team defeated Millwall 2-0 to take the lead.
McKenna stated: “I felt that every aspect of the game, from the very first to the very last, was a superb effort. We displayed the group’s identity, flair, and culture.”
