Vincent Kompany makes ‘exciting’ claim about West Ham squad as Burnley look to start assembling points
Foster, Muric, and Cork: Burnley team news update prior to the return match against West Ham…
Following their international break, Burnley’s next opponent is the Hammers, who visit Turf Moor on Saturday.
Moyes’ team has had a strong start to the new campaign, ranking tenth in the Premier League standings with five wins, two draws, and five losses. This is after the team won the UEFA Conference League the previous year.
Kompany isn’t shocked at all that the East London team is performing well, though, given the players West Ham has at their disposal.

“All right, this isn’t going to be an easy game, but the objective is still to score three points.”
“Coaching-wise, it’s similar to any other game in that you see opportunities for your team to turn it into a game and win, and that’s the main focus.”
Burnley’s goal is to score points quickly in order to move up from the bottom of the table after a dismal run of performance.
The Clarets have only collected four points from their first 12 games and have dropped their last five straight league games.
Even with the bad performance, Kompany is certain that things will turn around soon and that his Burnley team won’t fall apart.
Kompany responded, “More than ever,” when asked if he still had faith. However, that’s also who I am. I will be the last man to believe till the very end, if anyone still does.
It is a part of both the squad and the team. We shouldn’t ever question our ability to compile a series of findings, in my opinion.
Right now, details—sometimes even specific details—have been what have cost us. However, I see solutions, and it is my responsibility as a manager to assist the team and present those answers to them.
