THE WARNING ANNOUNCE OFFICIAL CONCERT MOVIE: LIVE FROM AUDITORIO NACIONAL, CDMX – A HISTORIC NIGHT IMMORTALIZED

July 23, 2025 – Mexico City, MX — In a moment that marks a significant milestone in their ever-rising global career, the Mexican powerhouse rock trio The Warning have officially announced their first full-length concert film: “Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX.” The cinematic release captures their electrifying sold-out show at the iconic Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, a venue that has hosted some of the greatest names in music history.

The concert movie, set to premiere later this year in select cinemas and streaming platforms, will offer fans around the world the opportunity to relive or experience for the first time one of the band’s most emotional and high-octane performances to date. The film not only documents a pivotal night in their 2025 Keep Me Fed tour but also cements their reputation as one of the most dynamic live acts of this generation.

    A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Held earlier this year as part of their massive Keep Me Fed World Tour, the Auditorio Nacional concert was a sell-out event that drew thousands of fans from across the country and beyond. It was the band’s first headlining performance at the prestigious venue, a feat that highlighted their growing prominence not just in Latin America but on the international rock scene.

The concert movie was professionally filmed with multi-angle cameras, drone shots, and behind-the-scenes footage, ensuring that the energy of the live experience is captured in its purest form. The film will showcase the trio’s blistering live renditions of fan favorites like “CHOKE,” “DISCIPLE,” “EVOLVE,” and new material from their Keep Me Fed album, including the hit single “S!CK”.

    THE WARNING: A ROCK PHENOMENON

Comprised of sisters Daniela “Dany” Villarreal (guitar, lead vocals), Paulina “Pau” Villarreal (drums, vocals), and Alejandra “Ale” Villarreal (bass, backing vocals), The Warning have become a force in modern rock. What started as viral covers on YouTube over a decade ago has blossomed into a career that includes performances at major festivals, collaborations with rock legends, and critically acclaimed albums.

The Villarreal sisters have always placed an emphasis on authenticity, passion, and performance — qualities that are abundantly present in “Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX.” In many ways, this concert film is both a celebration and a homecoming — a love letter to the fans who supported them from the start, especially in their native Mexico.

    WORDS FROM THE BAND

In an emotional joint statement shared across their social media platforms, The Warning expressed their gratitude and excitement:

“Performing at Auditorio Nacional was a dream come true. It was a night filled with emotion, energy, and love. We felt so connected to every person in the crowd. This film is a way to relive that moment with all of you — those who were there and those who couldn’t be. This is our gift to you.”

Dany added in a separate video message:

“We grew up imagining ourselves on big stages like this one. To be able to share our story and our music in such a meaningful way is surreal. This movie is more than a concert — it’s a memory, it’s an experience, it’s part of our journey.”

    PRODUCTION AND RELEASE

The film was directed by renowned music filmmaker Luis Garcia Navarro and produced in collaboration with Lumbre Films and UMG Mexico. The production team employed top-tier cinematic techniques to capture both the grand scale of the performance and the intimate moments that make The Warning’s shows so personal.

Navarro, known for his work with Latin and international artists, praised the band’s energy and commitment:

“This wasn’t just a concert — it was an emotional rollercoaster. The chemistry between the sisters, their connection to the crowd, and their raw talent made it easy to bring this story to life on screen.”

The full setlist will include over 20 songs, special guest appearances, and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage showing the preparation, nervous anticipation, and post-show emotions of the band. Fans can also expect interviews and personal messages from the sisters that shed light on what the show meant to them.

The movie is slated to premiere in select Mexican cinemas later this year before expanding to international theaters and digital platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV. A physical edition, including Blu-ray and collector’s vinyl/CD bundles, will be made available shortly after.

    FAN REACTIONS POUR IN

Following the announcement, fans flooded social media with excitement. Hashtags like #TheWarningLiveMovie, #AuditorioNacional2025, and #KeepMeFedTour began trending within hours. Some shared memories of being at the show, while others expressed how much they had wished to attend and were now grateful to get a second chance to experience it on screen.

    A fan on Twitter posted:

“Cried when I saw The Warning live in CDMX. Now I get to cry again watching it from my couch! This is everything we hoped for. THANK YOU.”

    Another wrote:

“This movie will be a time capsule for all of us who’ve followed The Warning from their garage days to the world stage. So proud of our girls.”

    HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE

Auditorio Nacional, located in the heart of Mexico City, is one of the most respected cultural landmarks in Latin America. Hosting this concert was a symbolic moment — a validation of The Warning’s journey from being a YouTube cover band to headlining Mexico’s most prestigious venue.

The show also highlighted the evolution of rock in Mexico. While the genre has historically struggled for mainstream recognition in Latin music markets, The Warning has helped reignite its popularity by blending classic rock foundations with modern sensibilities, powerful vocals, and fierce instrumentation. Their presence on that stage represents a new era for Latin American rock.

    WHAT’S NEXT?

With the concert movie adding a new dimension to their legacy, The Warning show no signs of slowing down. Their Keep Me Fed album continues to receive rave reviews and remains one of the highest-streamed rock albums of 2025.

They are also set to headline multiple international festivals, with upcoming shows in Europe, South America, and Asia, including high-profile appearances at Rock am Ring, Lollapalooza Argentina, and Summer Sonic Japan.

Moreover, speculation is already brewing that the band could be preparing to release another major studio project in 2026, given the writing sessions they’ve teased on social media.

    FINAL THOUGHTS

“Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX” is more than a concert film — it is a celebration of talent, perseverance, family, and fan power. It is a document of a band that dared to dream big, work hard, and stay true to their roots while taking over the world stage.

As the Villarreal sisters continue blazing trails for young musicians — especially women in rock — this film will likely serve as an inspiration to the next generation of artists. It will also forever be a cherished keepsake for fans who’ve been on the journey with them since day one.

From intimate club gigs to now lighting up legendary arenas, The Warning have arrived — and this film ensures that this historic night will never be forgotten.

Stay tuned to The Warning’s official website and social media pages for release dates, ticketing information, and global availability of “Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX.
