Now that Week Five of the NFL season is in the books, the Pittsburgh Steelers will get back to work and start preparing for their Week Six AFC North showdown with the Cleveland Browns. This will be the Steelers’ first division game of the season, and despite the Browns being 1-4, their rookie-powered offense is something Pittsburgh has to be ready for.
On Sunday, the Browns turned to rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel after benching veteran Joe Flacco. Gabriel was the Browns third-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft out of Oregon. The Browns came up just short in London on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings but Gabriel was solid in his first NFL start, throwing for 190 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.
The Browns also have a dynamic new running back in rookie Quinshon Judkins. If there’s a player that the Steelers’ inconsistent defense could be susceptible to next week, it might be Judkins. He was dynamic against the Vikings, finishing with 110 rushing yards on 23 carries. He also caught one pass for 18 yards.
On the flipside, the Browns’ defense looked rough, allowing quarterback Carson Wentz and the Vikings to march down the field on the final drive with almost no resistance to give the win to Cleveland.
