The Baltimore Ravens’ defense is struggling, particularly in late-game situations, and it’s the biggest hurdle to their championship aspirations. Despite having a strong offense, the team’s vulnerability on defense, especially in the secondary, has led to eight losses when leading in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter since 2022. Safety Ar’Darius Washington believes the team could be undefeated if the defense were performing at a higher level.

Defensive coordinator Zach Orr’s first season has seen the Ravens rank last in pass defense and struggle with big plays. Players like Nnamdi Madubuike are frustrated, feeling the team should be performing better, especially given their pride in defense.
