Bongani Zungu, a former midfielder for Mamelodi Sundowns, will travel to Morocco to work with Rulani Mokwena, his former coach of the Kabo Yellow.
Although coaches don’t typically discuss moves in such detail, Mokwena seems genuinely excited to sign Zungu at Wydad Casablanca, his new team. According to iDiski Times, the new Wydad coach stated on Marawa Sports Worldwide, “I can only talk about Zungu, with Zungu we are talking, he has got interest from elsewhere but Zungu is very special.”
The 32-year-old Zungu has reportedly begun training with Wydad in anticipation of the announcement of a new contract. Bongani Zungu worked out with the team once more today. Through X, Wydad Castle disclosed that he would sign as soon as feasible.
