Exclusive: Tottenham Accept to Sell Star player This Summer

Bryan Gil, a winger for Tottenham Hotspur, hasn’t played much under Ange Postecoglou this season and may look to leave in the summer.

Bryan Gil, a winger for Tottenham Hotspur, has had difficulty finding playing time this season. Sources close to GIVEMESPORT suggest that he may want to leave during the summer transfer window, if Spurs are ready to let him go on a permanent basis.

For an estimated £21 million, Gil moved from Sevilla to north London in 2021, with Erik Lamela going the other way. Since coming to Tottenham, the 23-year-old has been transferred back to Spain twice, once to join Valencia and Sevilla.

Spurs opted to keep Gil at the club for the 2023/2024 campaign, but he’s struggled to make a significant impact for the Lilywhites.

    He wants a permanent departure

At this point, Tottenham could permit Gil to leave on a permanent deal; the Spanish winger would prefer to leave during the summer transfer window. Gil has always been eager to battle for his career, but GMS sources say that when the market opens later this year, a departure may be imminent.

Feyenoord is beginning to show interest in the former Sevilla player, and the Dutch team is eager to bring him to a long-term contract. Given his lack of influence this term, it is not surprising that Gil is now seeking some clarification over his future.

Gil’s contract is currently set for two more years, and given that he has been with the team for about three years without becoming a regular for the north London outfit, it could be time for him to move on and seek a fresh challenge.

Bryan Gil Is Drawing Attention From Other Places Brighton was eager in January

After failing to create an impression in the first half of the season, MailOnline reports that the Spurs were thinking of moving Gil before the end of the January transfer window. Discussions over a loan move were initiated by Brighton & Hove Albion, and Nottingham Forest also expressed interest.

The 23-year-old was eager to stay in north London and compete for a spot in the senior squad, Sky Sports writer Michael Bridge told GIVEMESPORT at the time. However, sources have now indicated that he may be thinking about leaving at the end of the season.
