The initial bid included £20 million plus Giovani Lo Celso, but Villa swiftly declined. It was reported that Ramsey is regarded a vital player for Unai Emery.
But Tottenham remain unfazed as they explore a second bid to get Ramsey. The England U21 international is a top target for the club, which is eager to sign a box-to-box midfielder this summer.
Since joining Aston Villa’s youth academy at the age of six, Ramsey has grown into a vital member of the team. His talent and maturity allowed him to make his first-team debut in February 2019, and he has since performed consistently.
The 23-year-old made a big impact in the 2022–2023 season, contributing seven assists and six goals in 35 Premier League appearances.
