The New York Jets are actually unable to begin their coach search right now due to the National Football League’s regulations, which prohibit teams from interviewing coaches who are employed by another team until the regular season is over. As a result, the New York Jets have decided to give the general manager search more serious consideration until the end of the regular season next month. Interviews will begin this week.
The former general manager Joe Douglas was fired on 19th November. Douglas was with the team for over 5 seasons so when the New York Jets fired him, it was extremely shocking. Starting this week, the Jets will be extensively looking for talented people to fill in the shoes of Douglas.

Sources claim that Louis Riddick and Jen Robinson have been considered to replace Douglas; however, neither Robinson nor Riddick nor the New York Jets have verified this as of yet. In order to avoid making the same mistakes as before, the New York Jets are making every effort to hire the greatest players this time around.
They are now working closely with consultants to choose the team’s members. Both Rick Spielman, the former general manager of the Minnesota Vikings, and Mike Tannenbaum, the former general manager of the New York Jets, have been requested to assist the Jets in finding a talented general manager for the 2025 NFL season.
