After a stunning victory over the Washington Commanders, the Dallas Cowboys are still alive. That’s what they want you to believe, anyway.
The contest between the Washington Commanders and the Dallas Cowboys was incredible. When two fierce rivals faced battle, the Cowboys prevailed 34–26 against the Commanders.
Dallas led 10–9 going into the final quarter after a boring first three quarters. All hell broke loose at that point, but the Cowboys were able to win.
Dallas finally won a game after losing five in a row, so naturally, we’re going to see all the overreactions immediately. The Cowboys are said to be returning, so keep an eye out.
Have the Cowboys returned?
The answer to it is simply no. Despite snapping a five-game losing run on Sunday, you might still hear it for the next several days and possibly longer.
After taking butt-kicking every week for about two months, everything is now presumed to be fine. The Commanders, who have now lost three straight games, are defeated by the Cowboys with the aid of some clumsy plays and a great deal of luck.
This game had several advantages that we hadn’t noticed in prior weeks. Rico Dowdle ran for 86 yards, one yard short of tying his career-high established earlier this season, as Dallas put together a really strong running performance.

After Sunday’s victory, he continued to say, “I’m not done yet. I have no intention of tanking. I hope it’s wrecked if the higher-ups are searching for a draft pick since we still have a lot more football to play. We will always fight as long as I am a member of this team.”
It doesn’t matter if anyone else thinks it—we don’t. Dallas still has a chance to turn this season around if the coaches and players in that locker room support them.
After Thanksgiving against the New York Giants, Dallas will have ten days off before playing the Cincinnati Bengals. The Carolina Panthers are scheduled to play after that.
Therefore, even though the Cowboys are unlikely to qualify for the postseason, they might add some intrigue in the final stretch with a couple games they have a chance to win.
Dallas may be able to win most of their remaining games, with the exception of a matchup with Philadelphia in Week 16. And with a lot of assistance, there is still hope for a postseason berth following Sunday’s victory over the Commanders.
