Fiji Airways pays back loan borrowed in 2020

Our national airline, Fiji Airways, has just begun repaying a $75 million loan from the Fiji Development Bank, four years after it was first given.

The money came from a $445 million loan that the government pledged to help the airline run during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At a meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee, this was disclosed.
