Reportedly, Gabby Thomas and Olympic 100-meter winner Sha’Carri Richardson got into a physical altercation during the relay camp when they were preparing for the Paris Olympics, but Thomas denied the rumours. People on the internet love to set the two sprint queens against one other, the triple Olympic winner said, adding that it was one of the worst rumours she has ever heard about herself.
Gabby Thomas went on to say that she has nothing against Sha’Carri Richardson, stating that they are friendly and that they both participate in relay races together. The world 200-meter silver medallist said she was shocked that people think they are the worst of foes and that tension must always be present when they are together.
