When the teams faced up in the Premiership at Parkhead 13 days ago, the Hoops wasted a two-goal interval lead and had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
On deadline day, USA international center-back Trusty, who cost £6 million to sign from Sheffield United, is adamant that the Dons won’t be let to pull off a spectacular comeback for a second time.
“You want to seal the deal in the game when you are up 2-0,” the 26-year-old left-sided defender stated.
“We’ll approach this one with a lot of confidence, but if we find ourselves in that situation once more, then we should close the deal. We view every game as a challenge, so that will be the mentality once more.
“We don’t play games lightly or easily. That’s about showing our opponent respect. However, we want to go out there and play our game, regardless of who we are playing against.
The game will take care of itself if we do that. You pay close attention to your opponents, but you also pay close attention to yourself.
