Prosecutors explained that the adolescent was in the sea with pals when she was attacked, and Judge Susan Evans KC referred to the midday incident as “brazen.”
According to Bournemouth Crown Court, she started playing ball with another group, but her pals returned to the beach.
Marinoaica grabbed up the ball, and the girl went to get it. When she asked again, he gave it back, even though he had initially refused.
The jury was informed that he inquired about her name and age, claiming to be from Birmingham and going by Dabby.
Prosecutor Ellie Fargin stated that the defendant “pulled at [her] arm at this point and pulled her out to sea.”
She was indeed in deep water since she was unable to touch the bottom. ‘No, get off me,’ she said to the defendant, but he disregarded her.She wanted to leave because he was caressing her all over, but the defendant dragged her farther away.
According to Ms. Fargin, he asked whether she wanted to “smash”—that is, have sex—but the girl answered no.
According to the trial, Marinoaica touched the girl, kissed her, and assaulted her for around a minute while covering her mouth with his hand until someone came over.
He had removed the adolescent from her sphere of influence “so he could do what he wanted to do,” according to Ms. Fargin. “She didn’t consent, and we say he knew that – he simply didn’t care,”She informed the jury.
When the girl’s bikini’s semen matched Marinoaica’s DNA, he was taken into custody over a year later.
