One of Tottenham’s standout players this season has unfortunately made the worst Premier League eleven of the week.
Most people would agree that Dejan Kulusevski has been Tottenham’s greatest player this season, with the Swede serving as the club’s primary creative outlet since moving to attacking midfield.
The 24-year-old’s ascent has been so rapid that he has gone from a minor misfit in Tottneham’s system to one of the first names on Ange Postecoglou’s teamsheet in just a few months.
However, Kulusevski failed to live up to the lofty standards he has set for himself this season, struggling to make an impact in the game against Crystal Palace.
He was one of several Spurs players who had off days as Ange Postecoglou’s side battled to break down a well-organized Eagles team.
Football365 has compiled the worst eleven of the week based on the players with the lowest ratings on Whoscored, and the Swede sadly makes the list.
The publication stated about Kulusevski: “His only shot-creating action against Crystal Palace was a pass for James Maddison to shoot from 33 yards for 0.02 xG.
Both players were replaced in a triple substitution approximately seven minutes later, so Ange Postecoglou clearly didn’t think much of it.
