Massive Puka Nacua Injury Update Ahead of Rams vs. Vikings on Thursday Night
The Los Angeles Rams are set to welcome back Pro Bowl wide receiver Cooper Kupp for their Thursday night game against the Minnesota Vikings. Additionally, Puka Nacua, who is currently on injured reserve, has had his practice window opened this week and could also make his return. NFL insiders have expressed optimism about Nacua’s potential participation.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero noted that while Nacua is unlikely to play a full game since he’s only had one practice, there’s hope he could be active for the matchup. Similarly, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer indicated he believes Nacua has a strong chance of playing.
Currently listed as questionable, Nacua has only begun practicing this week but has shown promise in his workouts. After a knee injury in Week 1, which placed him on IR, and Kupp’s subsequent ankle injury, the Rams have struggled at 2-4. However, following a significant victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, the potential return of Nacua would greatly enhance their offense against the 5-1 Vikings.
