The Boston Celtics are a powerhouse in the NBA and one of the most consistent and dominant teams with strong performances on the playoffs since 2016… and in the 2024-2025 season, the franchise with the most titles in the league’s history (18) is looking to run it back.
In the previous season, the Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks 4-1 in the Finals, winning the Larry O’Brien trophy and their first title since 2008.
The Celtics’ warning to the NBA
The team is a pain for the rest of the league because of veterans Derrick White, Kristaps Porzingis, and Al Horford. The Celtics stated in a social media video that since they are only getting started, they have bad news for the rest of the NBA.
“We are aware of last year’s events. Eager for a fresh challenge, we’re starting over. Running towards everything rather than away from it. “Repeat, intensity (…) attack, attack, attack.” Numerous Celtics may be heard saying it.
“What’s the difference between winning and losing?” is the statement that concludes the video. The basics. Whatever it takes, the specifics, the actions we do. Why begin now? We didn’t win this by defending these (prior championships).
This Tuesday, the Celtics will travel to Boston to play the New York Knicks in a rematch at TD Garden. The NBA’s most successful team is the overwhelming favourite to make it to the Finals and win it back, especially with the majority of his roster still in place.
The three primary clubs that could pose a threat to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference are the Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucks, and Knicks.
