    Angel Reese Reveals Heartbreaking WNBA All-Star Situation

    Angel Reese is going to play in her first All-Star Game on Saturday, but unfortunately for the Chicago Sky rookie, it’ll be a bittersweet moment.

    While it remains a special occasion for Reese, the star forward won’t be able to share it with her family. According to the 22-year-old, her mom and brother won’t make it to the game.

    “My mom & brother won’t able to be at my first all star,” Reese wrote on X along with crying and sad emojis.

    The All-Star Game will be held at Footprint Center in Phoenix. Reese’s family, as it seems, remains situated in Maryland. Reese’s brother, Julian, is currently playing college basketball in Baltimore with the Maryland Terrapins.

    Having said that, it’s understandable why Reese’s mom and brother wouldn’t be able to come to her first All-Star Game. The Sky forward didn’t go into the detail about the reason for their absence, although the travel required would have already been challenging.

    Regardless, Reese’s family should be able to watch her in more WNBA All-Star Games in the future. After all, the 22-year-old is poised for superstardom in the league.

    Remember, Reese already made the All-Star team in just her first year. Not to mention that she has set records in the league, including the longest double-double streak (15) by any player in WNBA history.

    Hopefully, Reese’s mom and brother will be able to attend her next All-Star Game.
