CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Defensive end Cam Sample will miss the entire 2024-25 season, head coach Zac Taylor announced Monday.

Sample, the Bengals fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, suffered a torn Achilles, according to Taylor.

Offseason free agent signing Trent Brown will get some individual work in on Monday as training camp continues.

Brown, a 10th-year player who signed with the Bengals in March, passed a physical and was cleared to return to practice on Aug. 4, the team announced.
