Olaf Kobacki, who Norwich City is reportedly targeting, has been gained by Sheffield Wednesday.
According to The Sheffield Star, Wednesday will sign the Arka Gdynia winger as part of their ongoing recruitment campaign.
Reports from Poland on Friday suggested that Kobacki was moving to Norwich, and on Saturday, he was noticeably absent from Arka’s friendly match against Linfield, raising speculation that he was heading to England.
Wednesday beat Norwich to sign Kobacki, although Norwich was still keeping an eye on him. Danny Rohl is eager to bolster his team this summer following their successful relegation fight the previous season.
New guys in the championship As Arka failed to make up to the top division, Kobacki, who scored 13 goals in the Polish second division, was also being linked to Derby County.
Max Lowe, Ben Hamer, Yan Valery, Svante Ingelsson, and Jamal Lowe have already joined Wednesday. A transfer to Hillsborough has also been suggested for Lowe. Kobacki, who will play twice against Norwich next season, is expected to be the newest addition.
