Spurs became interested in Michael Kayode before the summer transfer market opened because of his strong performance in his first season with the main team at Fiorentina.
After spending two years in the Primavera squad, the 19-year-old Italian full defender from Gozzano joined the Viola in July 2021 and performed well enough to be included in Vincenzo Italiano’s team for the 2023–24 season.
In his first season with the senior team, Kayode played a major role for Fiorentina, logging 2906 minutes of action in 37 games. He charmed the Florence crowd throughout that time by scoring once and dishing out four assists.
Tottenham is considering Kayode.
According to Corriere Fiorentino via TMW, Tottenham is interested in Kayode, joining a lengthy list of teams hoping to sign the talented Fiorentina player before the summer transfer window opens.
At roughly €40 million, the Viola appreciate the adolescent talent. Although there haven’t been any offers yet, that should change in the upcoming weeks.
