As negotiations for Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, a striker, continue with Newcastle United, AC Milan has expressed interest in the player.
The Italian team is searching Europe for a replacement for Olivier Giroud, who has joined LAFC in the Major League Soccer (MLS), but they must first sell.
In addition, they have gotten in touch with Bologna regarding Holland international Joshua Zirkzee, who is also wanted by Manchester United.
Zirkzee has a £34 million clause that begins on July 1. Everton has made an approximate £30 million offer for Newcastle winger Yankuba Minteh and has been in negotiations with the Magpies for a £35 million trade for Calvert-Lewin.
Although Lyon, a French team, is rumored to be prepared to meet Newcastle’s asking price of more than £40 million, Brighton has reportedly contemplated making an approach for Minteh.
