Kentucky’s incredible 2024 campaign came to an end on Wednesday in Omaha as they lost to the Florida Gators 15–4.

In addition to posting a final record of 46-16, the year saw Kentucky travel to the College World Series for the first time in program history and capture a share of the SEC regular season title just twice.

Nick Mingione, the head coach, will now focus on developing a different competitor for 2025. After finishing 1-2 in its maiden trip to Omaha, Kentucky will try to return to the College World Series and, for the first time in program history, make it to the NCAA Tournament three times in a row.
