Despite declining a contract extension, Ben Johnson may yet sign a new agreement with West Ham this summer, according to Matthew Upson.
After rejecting an offer last month, the Hammers have now made a final-ditch five-year offer before the player’s contract ends later this month, according to The Athletic [11 June].
Johnson is a highly sought-after full-back this summer as a result of the circumstances at the London Stadium, and he is weighing his choices carefully before deciding.
