In the run-up to the summer transfer window, Lazio received an intriguing offer for Milan talent Daniel Maldon.
During his loan spell at Monza in 2023–24, the 22-year-old Italian striker demonstrated several strengths under Raffaele Palladino. In 11 games, he scored four goals and provided one assist, looking impressive in both the left wing and number 10 positions.
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru of Hatayspor and Calvin Stengs of Feyenoord are two of Lazio’s identified targets in their search for a new attacking midfielder, as the club sold Luis Alberto to Al-Duhail.
Attracting interest from Fiorentina and Torino, Maldini has been offered to Lazio by his entourage, according to Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).
Although he isn’t expected to be a priority for the Biancocelesti at this stage, things could change as the summer goes on. Milan are looking to ship out Maldini this summer.
