Delonte West, a former guard for the NBA and the Cleveland Cavaliers, was reportedly arrested in Virginia on Thursday on minor counts of resisting arrest and breaking his release terms.

West, forty, has been placed under bond for $2,000 at the Fairfax County Detention Center. The eight-year NBA veteran was supposed to appear in court on Friday at 8:30 a.m. Eastern.

Police tried to serve West with a warrant early on Thursday morning in Groveton, Virginia, and he was taken into custody. Officers lost sight of West during the chase when he ran from the area and discovered him unconscious. Narcan, which is meant to reverse a narcotic overdose in emergency situations, was provided by officers to West, but they said that it “did not have the desired effect,” as reported by WJLA7 News in Arlington.

After giving West another dose of Narcan, which proved effective, he was brought to a nearby hospital and then to the Fairfax County Detention Center.
