Big one Mark Pope’s former star make a decision.
Mark Pope, the most recent head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team, has been working tirelessly to assemble a strong team for his first campaign in Lexington.
In addition to bringing in a number of seasoned transfers, Pope has held various discussions with some of the best high school athletes.
Having said that, there is one big name that Pope and company are still waiting to hear from: Jaxson Robinson, a former standout player for BYU.
Although Robinson’s name is now included in the 2017 NBA Draft, he is still considering withdrawing and playing collegiate basketball again this coming season.
That choice must be made prior to the deadline of May 29.
While it is quite likely that Robinson will enter the NBA Draft, it is also likely that he will spend his final year of eligibility to play in Lexington for Coach Pope.
