There are rumors that the Hammers want to invest up to €25 million. Although Braga would prefer to earn slightly more—close to a €40 million release clause—those figures targeted by the London side might actually cover the purchase price.

The Newspaper Record is another one that covers the Banza race today. They do note out that Fiorentina and AS Roma are also interested in him, so West Ham are not the only team after him.

The team is preparing a significant sale for the striker, who is seen as the “strongest candidate” to depart Braga this summer.
