Surprisingly, the most talked-about prospect ahead of the 2024 NBA Draft next month is a guy who will either be selected in the second round or not at all. Everyone is curious to discover where Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, will ultimately go.
Bronny James, the son of one of the best players in league history, doesn’t have much of a chance to be picked in the first round on June 26 because he hasn’t given NBA teams anything to cheer about in his brief time at the University of Southern California.
The Lakers are presently the favorite to select Bronny James with their second-round draft pick, but he is still very much in the running to be chosen in the second round.
The USC product’s official NBA combine measurements were made public on Monday by Bleacher Report.
Bronny James is somewhat tiny for the NBA, even if his father is 6’8″, which is obviously not fantastic, especially for a guy who doesn’t appear to thrive in any one area. As if his performance with the Trojans wasn’t impressive enough.
It’s been suggested that Bronny James may play in the NBA because of his strong defensive skills, but it’s unclear if it will be sufficient to get him on the court at a higher level. It will be interesting to watch what this young player’s near future holds and whether or if he can team up with his father on the Lakers the following season.
