Giovani Lo Celso may be headed to Napoli this summer, but if he decides to leave North London, it’s said the Spurs player is considering all of his alternatives before choosing a team.
Under Ange Postecoglou, it appeared like Lo Celso would get another chance at redemption after missing the previous two years of action with Tottenham.
That hasn’t exactly been the case, though, as the Argentine hasn’t received the necessary playing time and has spent the majority of the season suffering with fitness.
Lo Celso has reportedly been linked to a number of elite European teams, with Spain showing particular interest in signing him.

However, it appears Napoli will be first in line if the Lilywhites are eager to sell. According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), the Serie A team is optimistic that they can sign the 28-year-old to a low-cost contract this summer.

The most recent comes from Calcio Napoli, who state that although Lo Celso still wants to play for Italy, he has “certain conditions” about his future.
It’s believed he needs to “clear his head” and determine if he wants to sign a new contract with the Spurs or pursue opportunities elsewhere. Right now, Lo Celso is “assessing all options that are available to him.”
The identity of Napoli’s incoming manager is one of the key elements in this scenario. As Antonio Conte, a former Tottenham player, may be about to take over at Napoli, Lo Celso’s planned move “wouldn’t be a point in favour” of the move, because Conte didn’t use him while he was in North London.
There is a notion that Lo Celso would have to look elsewhere since Conte would “prefer to focus on other players.”

Before we make a decision about Lo Celso, I would really like to see him given one more opportunity to prove himself this season. He has something to offer if he can put together a steady run, but right now I am leaning toward selling him.
