According to a source, Tottenham winger Bryan Gil is attracting interest from two European teams, one of which has already made an offer to Spurs that would result in a permanent transfer away.
Gil, 23, hasn’t had much of an effect at the Spurs since he arrived in 2021. The deft winger came from Sevilla in a trade that sent Erik Lamela the other way, but it’s safe to say Tottenham’s hopes were not fulfilled by the transfer.
Gil has played in 43 games in North London, relatively few of which have been starts, and he has only managed two assists and zero goals.
It has been approved for Valencia and former team Sevilla to go on loan back to Spain. Gil was kept in Ange Postecoglou’s starting lineup for the current campaign, nevertheless.
Gil was expected to make several cameos off the bench, but he had to wait three months before making another appearance, this Thursday night against Chelsea.
In January, there were loan options, and Brighton was one of the teams who applied. Gil, it is believed, has turned down further loan opportunities and will demand to leave the club immediately if he is kicked out again.
Sport Witness cites a recent update from Spain stating that Gil has “requested” to leave Spurs.
Tottenham may get the opportunity to re-sign with Sevilla, as the La Liga team has made a deal offer.

Sevilla is alleged to have offered yet another loan opportunity, although any agreement would entail obligations rather than options.
