On Sunday afternoon, Tottenham Hotspur will play Arsenal in the North London derby.

While the Gunners still have ambitions of winning the championship, the Lilywhites want to place in the top four of the Premier League and earn a spot in the Champions League for the next season.

The derby looks like an exciting event and could have even more drama with so much on the line.

Meanwhile, it seems possible that one of Tottenham’s defenders may depart the team this summer.

Full-back Ryan Sessegnon is weighing his options, and he may decide to quit the team during the next transfer window, according to Football Insider.

Despite moving from Fulham to the Lilywhites in 2019, Sessegnon has never been able to establish himself as a regular in North London.

He has made 57 appearances for Spurs in all competitions, with three goals and four assists.

After surgery last year, the left-back played just once this season during his 29 appearances during the 2020–21 season while on loan at German team Hoffenheim.

Since joining Spurs, the Englishman has missed 87 games overall due to injury, and he hasn’t participated in Premier League play since January of last year.

Since the 23-year-old’s Tottenham contract is slated to expire at the end of the following campaign, Spurs may try to trade for him this summer.

Clubs may be drawn to Sessegnon’s versatility because he can play on either flank and can also function as an advanced wing-back.
