Talks now at ‘serious stage’ after club make ‘several offers’ to Spurs

It was the same outlet (1908) that first reported last week that Feyenoord had identified Gil as a target to bolster their attack and had already submitted an offer for him.
Now, the publication has provided an update on the transfer pursuit, explaining that ‘several offers’ have been sent from Rotterdam for the Spaniard.

The initial offer, reportedly made earlier this month, was reportedly for less than €10 million (£8.6 million), but the Dutch team has reportedly since increased their offer in an attempt to persuade Spurs.
Gil is reportedly prepared to quit Tottenham and would go to the Netherlands if Feyenoord presented a “ambitious project.”
Talks between the two parties are reportedly at a “serious stage,” despite the fact that an agreement has not yet been reached. Arne Slot’s men reportedly believe that the transfer is not insurmountable.
In the upcoming weeks, a number of La Liga teams are likely to join the hunt for Gil as well. Tottenham would want to start a bidding war and raise the winger’s asking price to between £10 million and £15 million.
