It would be an understatement to say that Ange Postecoglou has brought about changes at Tottenham.
This season, the Australian has given the Spurs a whole new look. The North London team has developed into a fluid, attacking unit that is entirely different from Antonio Conte’s squad from the previous campaign.
Postecoglou’s presence has benefited a lot of players, but Yves Bissouma has arguably benefited the most from this change in leadership.
Speaking with Sky Sports, Bissouma talked about Postecoglou’s managerial style and revealed how much he adores the Spurs head coach.
Yves Bissouma loves Ange Postecoglou
The midfield player from Mali mentioned how much he enjoys working with his present boss.
“To be honest, working with him is great. He is an excellent coach. how he oversees the players and the team. He’s one of the best instructors I’ve ever met, and I’m thrilled to be working with him,” Bissouma remarked.
They say that every time we need to be like a family, and he’s the first to show us how to be like that. He truly cares about his players and treats them like family. For me, meeting a coach like him is truly unique. He is not only my manager but also my boss and a member of my family.
Ange Postecoglou has helped Yves Bissouma
That Bissouma is a big fan of the £100k-a-week man is not shocking at all.
The Australian has developed a strong bond with Bissouma, who has given him permission to resume playing the kind of football he truly loves.
As demonstrated at Brighton, Bissouma performs at his best when given the ability to move forward with the ball, and Postecoglou has restored that degree of freedom to the midfielder’s style.
Though Bissouma has undoubtedly benefited the most from Postecoglou’s arrival, the player has undoubtedly been excellent for Tottenham.
