After a terrible loan stint with Sevilla, John Wenham thinks that Alejo Veliz, a striker for Tottenham, should be moved on loan to an English team for the upcoming season.
The most crucial thing for Veliz in the upcoming season, according to the proprietor of the respectable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, is to play frequently after seeing his playing time with Sevilla restricted in the latter part of this season.
It follows an update from Felizio Romano via X on March 31, wherein he disclosed that the Spurs are getting ready to offer Veliz a fresh loan for the upcoming season, one in which he will be assured of playing time.
Furthermore, according to Wenham, who made this statement exclusively to Tottenham News, it doesn’t matter where Veliz travels as long as he stays in England.
Following the debacle of this loan at Sevilla, any loan for Veliz must be headquartered in England, according to Hamilton.
I would send him to the Championship club if he had to choose between a Premier League team and a team where he would play on a regular basis.
The most crucial issue is that he needs to be guaranteed playing time the following season.
With Alejo Veliz, Tottenham needs to make sure they get it right.
Spurs made a large financial investment to get Veliz into the Premier League.
The striker, who is still very young, hasn’t played much for Sevilla, but his exposure to a major La Liga team would have taught him a few things.
He can’t afford to miss another season of action, therefore Spurs needs to make sure the 20-year-old plays for the appropriate team the next season.
Daniel Levy is prepared to let go of one first-team player for just £15 million, according to other Tottenham news.
