Adams offers the Raiders a genuine No. 1 option in the passing game and is recognized as one of the top wide receivers in the NFL.
Adams’ time in Las Vegas hasn’t gone as planned, though, as the team has missed the playoffs the past two seasons.
Given the amount of drama and unrest the organization has seen, there was conjecture that Adams would declare himself eligible to play in order to give himself a realistic shot at winning the Super Bowl.
Adams, via Tashan Reed of The Athletic, stated that he is committed to playing for the Raiders despite the team’s lack of success.
“Today in Las Vegas, Daavante Adams is holding his third annual youth football camp. He stated unequivocally in a media appearance that he plans to remain with the #Raiders and not go anywhere else, according to Reed.
Earlier in the summer, there were rumors that Adams might request a trade to the New York Jets in order to rejoin Aaron Rodgers.
Although New York has not given up on Adams, Las Vegas has rejected them each time they have made an attempt to speak with him.
Adams is now anticipated to guide the attack once more, but under head coach Antonio Pierce.
The organization owes it to the superstar receiver to add more talent to the squad and make a postseason run now that he is back with the team and fully committed to it.
