I understand why Postecoglou (the man) keeps making adjustments. If you want new legs every week, then why not Maddison? I fail to understand
Tottenham’s fighting for fourth
Since these are the kinds of games you want to be winning—especially since Spurs haven’t yet faced the three Premier League teams vying for the championship—this will be perceived as a loss of points.
Having played the same number of games as Aston Villa, Tottenham is now two points behind them.
But on Wednesday night, Unai Emery’s team will travel to Manchester City, which will be extremely difficult.
In order to secure Champions League football, Tottenham needs the Premier League champions to do them a favor at this moment. If Man City wins three points, Tottenham will once again be in control of the outcome.
