In four seasons at Wisconsin and one at Louisville, running back Isaac Guerendo totaled 1,392 hurrying yards, with 810 of them coming within the 2023 season with the Cardinals.
At the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday, Guerendo gave master scouts another number to consider – 4.33 seconds.
That was the 221-pound Guerendo’s time within the 40-yard sprint on Saturday – the speediest of the 29 running backs at the yearly gathering of prospects at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Guerendo’s time tied for the fifth-fastest 40 for a running back at the NFL Scouting Combine this century. Arkansas’ Darren McFadden ran a 4.33-second 40 at the 2008 combine.
On Saturday, Tennessee’s Jaylen Wright wrapped up moment among the running backs at 4.38, with Florida State’s Trey Benson third-fastest at 4.39.
Three prospects who played at Alabama tall schools and colleges are within the running-back gather at the combine.
Texas’ Keilan Robinson had the fourth-fastest time at 4.42 seconds. Robinson was at Alabama within the 2019 and 2020 seasons, in spite of the fact that he didn’t see any activity within the moment campaign.
Troy’s Kimani Vidal ran 4.46 to tie for the sixth-fastest time.
Alabama’s Jase McClellan did not run the 40 on Saturday.

Vertical hop:
Guerendo also had the most excellent appearing within the vertical bounce by getting up 41.5 inches. Purdue’s Tyrone Tracy Jr. came in moment at 40 inches, with Boise State’s George Holani third at 39 inches.
Wide hop:
Tennessee’s Wright kept Guerendo from topping the running backs here, as well, by clearing 11 feet, 2 inches. Guerendo was following on the list at 10 feet, 9 inches. Holani positioned third at 10 feet, 7 inches.
