Former Alabama head coach Nick Saban had a proven knack for plucking some of the best talent out of other states during his 17-year run as head coach in Tuscaloosa. One of those states Saban had continued success in was Georgia. From guys like Kenyan Drake, Dalvin Tomilson and Xavier McKinney to Will Anderson, Brian Branch and all the way to Justice Haynes; the track record is there.
Kalen DeBoer and the new staff would certainly like to continue those strong relationships in the Peach State. In the limited time on the road, the staff has shown that having made stops at several high schools around the state including Carrollton High School, home of five-star quarterback Julian Lewis.
