Oliver Glasner has become an immediate favorite at Crystal Palace this week, and supporters are looking forward to Saturday’s matchup with Burnley.
It’s likely that Glasner is still dealing with some serious injuries, most notably to Marc Guehi, Eberechi Eze, and Michael Olise. Despite these absences, it is hoped that he can begin his tenure at the club this weekend with a victory.

In the interview, Guehi went all over his new manager and said that Glasner had already sketched out his game plan.
“He’s a really nice guy,” the English center-back said. “He and his staff have been fantastic since they’ve come in, [they] have laid out their plans and intentions, so yeah, the first few days have been positive,” the speaker said before adding.
Guehi went on to say that he knows Glasner wants to play offensive football and that the Austrian player has already adopted this mentality.
We’ve seen how aggressive his style is with Wolfsburg and Frankfurt, and we are aware of his remarkable achievements in Europe with Frankfurt in particular. Everyone is enthusiastic about the future since the manager has already somewhat incorporated what he wants from us on the training pitch and he clearly wants to score goals.
When Guehi was finally questioned regarding Glasner’s preference to play three at the back, he acknowledged that the new manager had already won over the team but denied that this was the case.
“I don’t think he’s restricted to a certain formation; it all depends on the team and his goals for the game.” But he wants to contribute something to the club, and everyone is enthused about it, regardless of our playing style or configuration.
Glasner is already heavily engaged in Palace training.
Thus, Glasner has undoubtedly been attempting to shape the team into his vision at Copers Cope in the lead-up to the weekend. Although it won’t happen quickly, we do anticipate seeing a signal this weekend.
