West Ham are hoping Jarrod Bowen will be fit to face Sheffield United on Sunday (21 January), according to Jacob Steinberg.
The update was posted by the Guardian writer on Monday, January 15, as the England international hopes to play soon after suffering an ankle injury in the 1-1 draw with Bristol City on January 7.
The 27-year-old winger will be absent from Tuesday’s FA Cup third-round replay against the Championship team (16 January), but he may be back for the Hammers’ trip to Bramall Lane. Previously, there had been concerns that he might miss a lengthier amount of time out with injury.
