In postseason action, the Buccaneers have a 3-2 advantage over the Eagles; two of the Eagles’ losses occurred during their travels to Tampa.
They were cut to pieces in 2022 when Tampa Bay and Tom Brady established a 31-0 advantage at the conclusion of the third quarter.
But the Eagles’ 1979 defeat to the Bucs would be among the most agonizing for a fan group that has endured far more than its fair share of disappointment over the years.

As if they didn’t have enough troubles, the Eagles may be in for pretty unpleasant circumstances Monday night in Tampa Bay, with the forecast calling for rain, potential thunderstorms, and winds gusting to 20 mph.
Naturally, they may be accustomed to it by now considering everything that has been going on here. However, it will be much warmer—the game time temperature will be about 68 degrees.
There’s a chance of snow or sleet outside when the Cowboys play the Packers on Saturday night. Dallas’ temperature will be in the mid 20s, similar to Green Bay.
When the Dolphins visit the Chiefs late on Sunday afternoon, the temperature in Kansas City is predicted to drop below zero with wind chills in the lower 20s. In other words, the Dolphins will be fish out of water (well, more like marine animals).
